Most modern tattooing fits under this label.  Illustrative tattoos don’t stick to any strict form, like Traditional or Japanese.  There is a lot more freedom to interpret ideas and express meaning.  It also allows for a wide array of style.  It can be elegant and soft or bold and dynamic, realistic or characterized, tight and rigid or loose and flowy.  It’s a flexible style that covers the widest subject matter.  I love this style as it allows for the most freedom and the most originality.  This tattoo style is gaining in popularity in Kelowna and the Okanagan.
